Automobile body shops, as the name suggests, is the venue for treating your automobiles in the hands of electricians or auto mechanics in case you have met with an accident and injured your car, put a bump, dent or scratch here or there, or if you need servicing just for a long life of the car or just if you need a new splash of paint.
Some of the existing automobile body shops are Walmart, Sears Auto Center, Midas and Firestone Complete Auto Care. These automobile body shops can be either independently, owned or operated, or they may be part of a franchise. In some countries, the car manufactures have their own automobile body shops which cater to the needs of the automobiles of only their company.
An automobile body shop which really soaked the limelight was West Coast California. After signing a deal with the channel Vh1, they would pick up a car in an extremely dilapidated condition from the thousands of entries they received every week. Then the car would be personalized suiting the needs and according to the personality of the owner. From installing Xbox or Woofer sound boxes or leather seats or just yoga mats and a whole range of colors available nowhere else in the market, the show “Pimp my Ride” surely grabbed a lot of eyeballs and made the job of a mechanic look extremely cool and scientific.
Some automobile body shops also facilitate in renting of cars. Now this can come in really handy if you are off touring to some distant place and all you need is a ride to make the journey fruitful. If you have seriously injured your car, it is better to visit those automobile body shops which have certified and licensed mechanics; though it can be costly, it is more effective.
